Conference Suite / Functions

Located on the ground floor, with disabled access via the conference entrance (the one nearest to County Hall). The facility comes equipped with a lectern and multi-media facilities; it is w-fi enabled, network links and has numerous data-ports.

The lectern allows for the use of DVD, Video, Pc, Laptop and CD input, with projection onto the fully automated drop-down screen (dimensions 10’ x 10’). There is also a laser pointer.

The sound system allows a choice of outputs to the Conference room, Russell Andrews room, Calvados room and bar area. In addition to the microphone built into the lectern, a wireless hand held microphone and clip-on microphone are also available.

Presentations can also be relayed to either or both of the flat screen TV’s located in the Russell Andrews room and Calvados room (and vice versa).  

The Watts coffee bar is located within the main conference room.

Capacity is dependant on the chosen layout; Theatre style layout can accommodate up to 160 people, whilst Cabaret style (see photo) can accommodate up to 90 on small tables (seating 6 each) or up to 100 on larger tables (seating 10 each)

Within the conference room there is a lounge area with leather sofas which can be used as a break-out area within the main room.

The Conference facility can be let as a suite with up to 3 further break rooms (Stacey, Creber and Russell Andrews rooms), each adjoining the main conference room;

Stacey room

Located on the ground floor, adjacent to the Conference room, and also with disabled access.

The room is w-fi enabled and has various data ports.

Capacity is dependant on layout. It is normally laid out board room style and as such it seats 12. It could also be used as a reception room, break-out room or used for laying out buffet lunches as part of the conference suite. Smaller cabaret style tables are available for this room on request.
Stacey Room

Creber room

Located on the ground floor, adjacent to the Stacey room, and also with disabled access.

Capacity is dependant on layout. It is normally laid out board room style and as such it seats 20+. It could be used as a break-out room or used for laying out buffet lunches as part of the conference suite. Smaller cabaret style tables are available for this room on request.
